AMoCA Receives New Storage System

New Museum Storage System

The Anderson Museum of Art has installed a new storage system to store 2D artworks from the RAiR Collection on rolling panels. It may be surprising that the museum has art in storage, since there are more than 500 works from the permanent collection on display at all times in the museum galleries. Additionally there are more than 200 artworks at any time in the RAiR Collection that are not being shown. Artworks do change locations and are occasionally rotated in and out of the galleries from storage.
