Richard Faller

Richard Faller (b. 1941), a photographer, was born in Boston but moved to New Mexico in his twenties, where he remained. He attended the Philadelphia Museum College of Art in 1961-62 and studied with the well-known photographer Minor White. His photographs are included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. His work has been shown at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Dallas Museum of Art, and the Princeton University Art Museum, among many others. 

From a Roswell Daily Record on Faller’s 1972 exhibition at the Roswell Museum: “Typically, Faller’s photographs are devoid of human subjects. He concentrates on landscape and architectural motifs. Preferring the warmth and character of older buildings, he has photographed many of New Mexico’s missions and adobe structures.”
