Update on NEA Funding for RAiR

With all of the changes in the National Endowment for the Arts funding this year, the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Foundation was recommended for an FY 2025 Grants for Arts Projects award but the grant has not been officially awarded. The recommendation is currently under review. We’ll let you know more when we know more.

This grant would support the Roswell Artist-in-Residence Program by providing 12-month residencies for visual artists. The artists on the grant would receive direct benefit from the NEA via monthly stipends.

The NEA’s updated guidelines based on Executive Orders have altered what they are now funding.

For more information on the NEA’s granting guidelines visit arts.gov/news.
