Theresa Pfarr’s artwork was included in the Trenton City Museum’s exhibition, Ellarslie Open 43, where her painting “Onslaught” was awarded the prize of Best in Show.
Showcasing contemporary work by artists from across the NJ-PA-NJ region and beyond, the Ellarslie Open, which debuted in 1983, is one of the area’s premier annual juried shows. In 2026, out of 634 pieces entered, Juror Adam Welch selected 127 diverse works to exhibit. The 2026 show opens with an Artists’ and Members’ Reception and Awards Saturday, June 6. It remains on view through September 6, when the People’s Choice award will be announced.
