RAiR artist Debra Smith had a solo show titled Balancing Act at Kathryn Markel Fine Arts in New York.
“Balancing Act comes out of a year of trying to find my way through a world that feels increasingly unstable. Each day carries the weight of political noise, unease, and uncertainty, and the studio is the place where I try to slow down enough to listen. The work is not about being steady. It is about looking for steadiness inside conditions that keep shifting.”
